Town of Dover Passes New Boating Ordinance

Last week the Dover Town Board passed a new ordinance prohibiting artificial wake enhancement on Eagle Lake. The ELMD has been following presentations, debates and ordinance creation relating to wake enhancement across Wisconsin. Given the shallow depths of Eagle Lake, plus other considerations with safety, size of the lake and recent studies, we felt this was a good time to recommend an ordinance.
