DNR approves Updated Aquatic Plant Management plan (APM)

Survey work was completed during 2025 and the written report was completed in April 2026. The APM plan allows the Management District to renew both our harvesting permit and apply for annual chemical treatment permits.

The Management plan also focuses on analysis and recommendations that contribute to making better decisions, helps evaluate improvements and set goals in aquatic plant inventory, fish & wildlife habitat, water quality, recreation, near shore habitat and also watershed impacts.
