Grant Secured - Harvester Refurishment

Exciting news to share reference our weed harvester refurbishment project! The Wisconsin Waterways Commission has awarded ELMD a 50% matching grant to rebuild our 1998 weed harvester. The scope of the project was approved at the 2021 ELMD Annual Meeting. This generous contribution eases the burden on our budget so we can continue to provide top-notch lake management services to Eagle Lake.

It is our goal to try to complete this refurbishment project over the winter so we are ready for weed combat come spring and summer! We sincerely appreciate the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin Waterways Commission for offering these programs that help Lake Districts fund expensive projects.
